"Überleben in Brandenburg" - Movie
January 1, 2023
"Surviving Brandenburg" is a comedy addressing age discrimination and the post-midlife crisis, with contemporary relevance to the political landscape.
The film narrates the story of László Kovács, a Hungarian filmmaker experiencing a personal crisis. When an AfD politician becomes the sole candidate for mayor in his 120-resident village, László decides to run himself to prevent the right-wing politician's unopposed election.
Written by Zoltan Paul and co-directed with Ben von Grafenstein, the film premiered at the Hof Film Festival and was released in German cinemas on April 11, 2024.

In this project, I contributed for a week as the first camera assistant and focus puller, supporting the renowned cinematographer Jan Kerhart with my ideas and technical expertise.
